To Manta.

Four planes later, I have one left to get to Manta, Ecuador where I´ve signed up for Spanish and surfing lessons and staying with a host family.  I have no idea what to expect from any of it, but it will be nice to be warm for a while before heading back to the Andes hills for some hiking before the Galapagos. 

Things I am excited about, in addition to the things noted above: feeling my feet when I go outside, shipping several layers back home once the penguin poop has been thoroughly extracated, and - hopefully - homemade rice and red beans. 

And buying a new t-shirt.  It´s the little things...
